bathrooms - sdd - łazienki

Having stripped the plasters and tiles we have begun a new phase - bathrooms. For each room (in total 5) we will provide a small room with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. After placing the drain system, a screed has been poured and new partition walls were built. The partitions stop much lower than wooden floor because it is really important for us to not to damage it. Anecdote : basically, we have planed to build partitions as drywalls, but we realised that this type of building material remains largely inaccessible in Morocco. We have therefore went for a terracotta masonry light enough to not to burden the floors.

Après avoir décapé les enduits et les carrelages nous avons commencé une nouvelle phase - salles de douches. Pour chaque chambre (au total 5) nous avons prévu une petite pièce avec un lavabo, un WC et une douche. Après avoir placé l'égouttage, une chape a été coulée et ensuite de nouvelles cloisons ont été construites. Les cloisons s'arrêtent nettement plus bas que les planchers en bois car il est vraiment important pour nous de ne pas les abîmer. Petite anecdote : à la base, nous avions prévu de construire les cloisons en plaques de plâtre, mais nous nous sommes rendu compte que ce type de matériau de construction reste pratiquement inaccessible au Maroc. Nous avons finalement opté pour une maçonnerie en terre cuite suffisamment légère pour ne pas alourdir les planchers du premier étage.

Po skuciu tynków i płytek ceramicznych rozpoczęliśmy kilka dni temu nowy etap - łazienki. Dla każdego pokoju (a jest ich sumie 5) przewidzieliśmy niewielki lokal zawierajacy umywalkę, toaletę i prysznic. Po położeniu rur kanalizacyjnych, wylaliśmy wylewkę a następnie wznieśliśmy ścianki działowe. Ścianka kończy się znacznie poniżej drewnianego stropu ponieważ zależy nam na tym, żeby drewniane stropy zachowaly się nienaruszone. Mała anegdota : pierwotnie zakładaliśmy, że wybudujemy ścianki działowe z płyt gipsowo-kartonowych, ale jak się okazało tego typu materiał budowlany pozostaje na dzień dzisiejszy nieosiągalny w Maroku... Pozostaliśmy więc na pustakach ceramicznych wystarczająco lekkich, żeby nie przeciążać stropów pierwszego piętra.

 Après enlèvement des carreaux de sol nous avons commencé par l'égouttage.

 Po skuciu płytek podłogowych zaczęliśmy od kanalizacji.

 Then a screed was poured. Three drainage outlets remain visible, from the left to the right: shower, washbasin and toilet.

 Ensuite une chape a été coulée. Trois sorties d'égouttage restent visibles, de gauche à droite: douche, lavabo, wc.

 Następnie po wylaniu wylewki trzy odpływy pozostały widoczne. Od lewej do prawej: prysznic, umywalka, toaleta.    

 In the end, the partitions of terracotta masonry were built.

 En fin, les cloisons en maçonnerie de terre cuite ont été construites.

 Na końcu wznieśliśmy ściankę działową z pustaków ceramicznych.
